Rise recognized its 50th anniversary August 2, 2021. We are celebrating with several projects and special events hosted throughout 2021 and into 2022.
2021 Celebrate Rise Fundraising Gala
Our Celebrate Rise 10th Annual Fundraising Gala, recognizing Rise's 50th Anniversary will took place on Thursday, November 4th, 2021 at the Minneapolis Marriott Northwest
We had a wonderful evening, both with a ballroom full of guests enjoying a meal and moving program as well as hundreds tuning in to a livestreamed portion of the night. You can watch the livestream here. Donations received at our event page will benefit Rise’s Advancing Lives Fund, providing important and sometimes emergency resources to the people we serve.

50th Anniversary Kickoff Picnic
On August 1, 2021, Rise and a few hundred guests recognized our 50th Anniversary with a celebratory picnic at Aquatore Park in Blaine, MN. These people included Rise team members, partners, supporters, and of course our people served and their guests.
We celebrated with food, music, dancing, games, and even a community-made art piece! You can head here to watch the recap video for a look into all the fun we had!
Memorial Reception Honoring Truc Pham Will Be Rescheduled
We hope you will join us for a reception to remember and honor Truc Pham who was director of Rise's welfare-to-work programs for more than 20 years and died in January 2020.
The original memorial reception was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but we hope to reschedule it. A new date and location TBA.
